Another lovely book signing!

Friday Mom and I were all set up at Patchwork Plus in Marcellus, NY, for our second book signing. Here's a pic of Judi West, the owner, hiding behind our sign, me and Mom. Those are 5 of the quilts from the book hanging behind us. And what a clever display rack! It's made of those heavy round metal patio umbrella stands that are really hard to tip over. Holes were drilled in the vertical rods, and horizontal metal rods were inserted into them. We were there during their new Spring Fling Shop Hop that they held with Mission Rose and Calico Gals, 2 other quilt shops in the Syracuse area. The weather was sunny and warm, in the mid 70s, and they had a wonderful turnout. Probably over 100 people came in during the few hours we were there. To the bus tour folks from Rochester who didn't get there til dinnertime - we're sorry we missed you and we hope you enjoyed these 3 wonderful shops.

Thanks to Judi and Tom and everyone else at Patchwork Plus (Kitsie, Merle, Dolores, Joyce, Judy S., Suzanne, etc.) for having us there!

Also, all of you who bought our book - we really did mean it when we said that we'll be glad to post pictures of your work on our blogs if you make something from the book, so feel free to send them to us! It'll be fun to see how you interpreted the pattern and chose your fabrics.

Looks great! I love the set up with your quilts hanging behind you both. I'm glad so many people were there.
